Christopher Rennie has served in many different capacities in his career: from library director for a small college to library software consultant to multiple national library projects both in North America and elsewhere in the world. He has managed library digitization at an ARL partner with the Google Books project and managed reference services at a library serving a population of less than 300 people with interspersed positions with library automation software vendors and publishers. Always committed to maximizing the search & discovery possibilities available in his libraries and through his software, he has joined to ProQuest to lead a program of improvement in search & discovery technologies and implementation on the ProQuest academic database platform.
