Elizabeth Call is Public Services Librarian at the Burke Library at Union Theological Seminary of Columbia University Libraries. Prior to her current position, she was Head of Reference & User Services at the Brooklyn Historical Society. Elizabeth holds a BA in History from the State University of New York at New Paltz, an MA in Public History from New York University, and an MLIS from the Palmer School of Library and Information Science at Long Island University. She has been an active member of the Rare Book and Manuscript Section (RBMS) of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) since entering the world of special collections over ten years ago, and proudly serves as secretary on the Exectuive committee, the 2017 RBMS Conference Planning committee, the Membership & Professional Development committee, is a member of the Core Competencies in Special Collections task force, and is co-chair of the ALA/SAA/AAM Committee on Archives, Libraries, and Museums (CALM).
