90-minute Conference Session

Preparing for a Crisis in Education Abroad

Wednesday, October 19
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Room: Vanderbilt

Risk management is becoming commonplace in all education abroad programs. Whether with an IEO or led by a faculty member, advisers must be prepared should something happen to a student overseas, or in the area where students are located. The panel will discuss their institutional procedures as well as points of consideration in developing various action plans. The session will culminate in an exercise in which participants will create plans for specific occurrences.
