90-minute Conference Session

Partnering with Parents: Collaboration Not Confrontation

Thursday, October 20
8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Room: Heritage

Families are integral to our students' abroad experiences. This session brings new thinking and focus to the role of parents and guardians, and invites you to share your stories. Using data from recent parent surveys, data from the field, and the panel's and participants' own experiences sending our children abroad, we will use communication tools to turn confrontation into collaboration and give examples of helpful guidelines for education abroad office websites.
