The N.U.inĀ Program International Student Advisor (ISA) position is a unique entry into the field of international education. It offers Northeastern University co-op students the opportunity to work as on-site support for first-year student participants studying abroad. This poster will introduce the responsibilities of this multi-faceted role and the benefits this position provides to the ISA, student participants, and the Program.

Laura KATHRYN. Brond

Assistant Director
Northeastern University

Laura Brond, M.A., is an Assistant Director with The Program at Northeastern University. She has been a member of The Program team since June 2015 and currently works with the first-semester abroad programs in Australia. Prior to coming to Northeastern, Laura worked in Boston College's Office of International Programs, the Colleges of the Fenway's Global Education Opportunities Center, and Boston College's Office of Graduate Student Life. Laura has her B.A. in Economics from the College of William & Mary and her M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.

Quinn Emmons

Associate Director, International Operations
Northeastern University

Quinn Emmons is an Associate Director of International Operations for The Program at Northeastern University where she works closely with site staff, partner staff at host institutions, and key stakeholders at Northeastern to ensure the overall success of the Program. Previously, Quinn worked as a Senior Assistant Director, overseeing the Canada and Ireland:UCD locations, customer service, and site staff training. She received her BA in French and Comparative Literature from Hamilton College and her MS in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern where she focused on international education.
