Steven Boyd is Director of International Admissions at the University of Bridgeport, where he has worked for the past 15 years. He is responsible for all undergraduate and graduate international student recruitment and admissions. He was also Assistant Director of the ELI for 2 years.
Prior to UB, Steve worked in Latin America for 20 years as a teacher, simultaneous interpreter and international conference organizer.
A past presenter at NAFSA and AIRC, his work has taken him over 55 countries.
He has a B.A. in Liberal Arts and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Bridgeport.

Non-profit administrator managing higher education international programming and quality review processes.
At the American International Recruitment Council I serve as Associate Director and Manager of Certification. I lead all aspects of an accreditation scheme for international student recruitment organizations. I also coordinate professional development training for members, write and edit papers for AIRC's publications library, develop member recruitment strategies, plan outreach and communications, and manage personnel.
I have presented at NAFSA on the topics of AIRC Certification, Using Standards in Implementing Student Recruitment Contracts, Best Practices in International Recruitment.
