Diane Boehr is the Head of the Cataloging and Metadata Management Section at the National Library of Medicine. She has been active in bibliographic standards work for many years. She currently serves as the CONSER representative to the PCC Policy Committee and previously served as a member of several PCC tasks groups and standing committees. She co-chaired the PCC Serial Access Level Record Committee which developed the CONSER standard record. Diane was the Medical Library Association representative to the LC Working Group on the Future of Bibliographic Control and was a member of the U.S. RDA Test Coordinating Committee. She received her MLS from the University of Maryland College of Information Studies, where she later served as an adjunct instructor teaching bibliographic control.
