Dr. Hong Huang is an Associate Professor at School of Information, University of South Florida. His research and teaching interests are in IT in Library Education, Data Management, and Scholarly Communication. He also taught MLIS courses such as “Basic Reference Resources” that train librarians (including media specialists) for resource selection and development.He had developed information system(s) using IBM Content Manager, software for data mining/visualization, and information repositories that support data curation and game based learning. He is a native speaker for Mandarin and Cantonese. He had over 130 publication and presentations in both Chinese and English.
