Dawn has been employed with the Georgia Public Library Service for 8 years as
the Help Desk Manager. In addition to her help desk duties, she teaches PINES
classes for library staff, develops online staff training materials, participates in
testing, and works on special projects on behalf of the PINES member libraries.
Prior to joining GPLS, she was the Circulation Manager for Hall County Library
System in Gainesville, Georgia, during which time she was awarded a Georgia
Library Association grant for exemplary service as a paraprofessional in Georgia’s
libraries. She is currently the secretary of the Paraprofessional Division of the
Georgia Library Association and has served on the Paraprofessional Grant
Committee for a number of years.
