Welcome to the 50th Annual ABCT Convention Itinerary Planner!

The Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies welcomes you to the 50th Anniversary Convention at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel, in New York City, NY. The theme this year is “Honoring the Past, Envisioning the Future.” ABCT's annual convention brings the cognitive-behavioral community together to explore current developments in research and practice and to stimulate thinking about the myriad issues that surround CBT and how it intersects with other disciplines. While attending the convention, in addition to networking with your peers, you will experience provocative speakers, professional development sessions, and face-to-face roundtables with mentors, colleagues, and luminaries, as we envision the next 50 years of cognitive and behavioral research and practice.

Highlights of this year’s program include:

  • Four Invited Panels
    • Technology and Treatment: Christopher Fairburn, Kathleen Carroll, Ellen Frank, David Mohr, and Ricardo Muñoz
    • Cognitive Science and Transdiagnostic Principles: Steven Hollon, Emily Holmes, Jutta Joormann, Matthew Nock, and Bethany Teachman
    • Neuroscience and Psychological Treatment: Michelle Craske, Richard Davidson, Eric Nestler, Elizabeth Phelps, and Mary Phillips
    • Dissemination and Implementation: David Barlow, Bruce Chorpita, David Clark, Edna Foa, and Vikram Patel
  • Presidential Address by Michelle Craske
  • Lifetime Achievement Award Address by David Clark
  • 123 Symposia, 40 Panel Discussions, 4 Clinical Roundtables, and 1,635 Poster presentations
  • Over 45 combined Clinical Intervention Trainings, Institutes, Master Clinician Seminars, AMASS, Workshops, and Mini Workshops
