Gabrielle Brewer, Masters Student (Exercise Physiology), University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Gabrielle is a 2nd year Masters student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working under the direction of Dr. Abbie Smith-Ryan. Her research focuses on body composition, metabolism, nutrition, and human performance in a variety of populations ranging from athletes to cancer paitents. The title of her thesis is: "Acute Feeding: Influence on the Validity of Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) Body Composition Measurement."

She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota as a student athlete, and conducted research under the direction of Dr. Tyler Bosch.
