Emily C. Tagesen

Emily Tagesen is a master’s degree student at Kent State University. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2018. Currently, her research focuses on to skeletal muscle damage resulting from resistance exercise in women throughout the different phases of the menstrual cycle. Emily intends to pursue her PhD in the future and expand her research to the influence of the immune system during and following resistance exercise.
