Scott G. Blair, PhD, is NAFSA’s past Research & Scholarship Network leader at TLS and serves on the Board of Directors at the National Society for Experiential Education. He specializes in learning outcomes assessment for intercultural experiential programs. An education professional located in Paris for over three decades, Blair has worked as instructor, writer, Academic Dean, and Director of Assessment with several provider organizations as well as U .S. and French institutions of higher education. He served on the faculties of the University of New Haven, the Institut National des Sciences Politiques, the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales, and the American University of Paris. He published research in curriculum development and outcomes assessment in Frontiers and is a regular speaker at educational conferences. Blair holds a doctorate in history from the Sorbonne, an MA in European history from Georgetown University, and a BA in English from Miami of Ohio.
