David is the Head of Client Relations at IDP Education and has extensive experience working with colleges and universities with a vast understanding of their business needs. Prior to IDP, he spent three years with Lehman Brothers Bank in their private student lending division. David is a graduate of Shippensburg University, where he earned his degree in finance.

IDP Education is a world leader in international student placement services. Their global network of 80 counseling centers helps students from 28 countries study in the USA.

David L. Di Maria

Associate Provost for International Programs
Montana State University
Bozeman, Montana

Dr. David L. Di Maria serves as the associate provost for international programs at Montana State University, where he is responsible for international partnerships, international enrollment management, international student and scholar services, international risk management, professional training programs, study abroad programs and internationalization strategy. Dr. Di Maria frequently presents, publishes, consults and trains on best practices pertaining to international education administration. He is the 2016 chair of NAFSA's International Enrollment Management Knowledge Community, an active member of NAFSA’s Trainer Corps and a former Core Education Program Dean. Outside of NAFSA, Dr. Di Maria serves as an external reviewer for the American International Recruitment Council, he is a member of the advisory council of MSU's Center for Bilingual and Multicultural Education, and he is a Neal Presidential Fellow with the Association of International Education Administrators. Dr. Di Maria earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a doctorate in educational policy and administration from the University of Minnesota. His doctoral research focused on campus services for international students.
