This session focuses on the basic policies and procedures employed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in admitting international students and scholars into the United States, and covers anticipated CBP developments in the year ahead. Officials from U.S. Customs and Border Protection have been invited to participate.

Ben Colston is the Program Manager and Senior Advisor at Rice University. He is the primary contact for international graduate students, and provides advise and support on visa status regulatoins as well as orientation and programming. He also supports scholars and academic departments regarding H-1B, T-N, and other employment visas.
