This session provides a solid foundation upon which new and growing intensive English programs can maximize their success for stakeholders and strengthen internationalization initiatives. Attendees learn how to innovate their programs, lead change management, and understand growth challenges to increase global learning and campus internationalization.

Samantha F. Radovich

Samantha F. Radovich is co-founder of Education Alliance Group and World Language Education Specialist for Cambridge University Press. She has over fourteen years professional experience that spans five countries (Chile, England, Mexico, Spain and the U.S.A.) in international program development, management, sales and marketing, accreditation, language instruction, program assessment, and curriculum design. She received her M.A. from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California and her B.A. from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Samantha has a certificate and specialization in Language Program Administration. Her credentials include Director of Academics and Accreditation at Language Consultants International (LCI) in Denver, Colorado; Director at the Cotemar International Development Center in Campeche, Mexico; and, Center Director at the ELS Language Center on the campus of the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. Samantha is a CEA site-reviewer and a member of TESOL and NAFSA. She has presented professionally at conferences throughout her career.

Amber McDonnell

Amber McDonnell currently holds the position of Education Programs Manager at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Amber has been working in higher education for both public and private institutions since 2006. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University. Amber is a proven and respected leader within higher education. As a visionary leader, Amber encourages risk, rewards success and empowers her team to achieve operational goals

Jess Vasquez

Consultant

Jess Vasquez is a private consultant who has over 25 years combined experience in Education, Finance and Business Development. While with Colorado State University Global Campus he established and directed the Military Advising Department. He determined department staffing levels, analyzed enrollment data and created income projections . The program grew from 25 students to over 1500 in two years.
As a Senior VP with Wells Fargo, he developed proactive campaigns to identify and develop new commercial banking clients. By partnering with other lines of business to deliver a full complement of services he increased the commercial banking portfolio from $4.8 million in credit revenue and 12 high value clients to $10.5 million in credit revenue and 22 high value clients in less than one year.

Most recently he served as the Director of Operations for a private ESL provider which has 5 centers across the US, three of these centers are located on college and university campuses. He directed the operations of the organization and ensured high student and staff performance, production efficiency, and cost effective management of resources. The organization reached record enrollment levels and reduced COGS by 7%. He played a critical role in establishing new centers by sourcing University Partners, negotiating contracts and establishing strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Amy Fenning

Amy Fenning has been in the field of international education for over 25 years, having taught in three countries and extensively in the Seattle area. She has furthermore been in program administration for seven years at university IEPs, proprietary on-campus programs and international programs. She is currently the Director of International Programs and Admissions for University of Tennessee at Martin.
