Credits earned may be used toward your VA-BC™ recertification.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP12371 for 23 contact hours. It is the responsibility of each participant to determine if his or her state/national licensing agency or certification organization recognizes continuing education hours from approved Providers of the California Board of Registered Nursing for credit toward renewal licenses or credentials.

One (1) CRNI® recertification unit may be earned for attending each of the following sessions:

  1. Strategies for Reducing Risk and Liability for Extravasation-A True Story
  2. The Changing Landscape of Patient Safety
  3. Venous Thrombosis: The Elephant in the Room for Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters
  4. Upper Extremity Deep Vein Thrombosis in Chronic Kidney Disease: A Case Study
  5. The Downside of Vascular Access: Difficult Insertions and Complications

The units can be applied to the category of attendance at Non-INS Education Meetings. A CRNI® can submit a maximum of five (5) CRNI® recertification units from this category during the three-year recertification period. To apply these units to recertification, the CRNI® should submit a copy of the program's CE form with their recertification application.

Respiratory Care Professionals:
Application has been made to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for continuing education contact hours for respiratory therapists.

Radiologic Technologists:
Category A/A+ CE credit is pending approval by the ASRT
