Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Dinner Cruise - Separate Registration/Fee

Friday, November 27

6:15 PM - 8:30 PM

Room: Campbell Cove

Two hundred years ago, a timber sailing ship was the only way to see Sydney Harbour. In 2015, it still is! Experience Sydney from the unique perspective of an authentic tall ship for the perfect ending to the first day of pre-conference workshops. The Soren Larsen is one of the very few authentic timber square riggers still operating in the 21st century. It was one of the last cargo-carrying oak sailing ships built in 1949, and was chosen to be Flagship of the First Fleet Re-enactment Voyage celebrating Australia’s bicentennial in 1988. Join us for a substantial dinner of delicious freshly prepared canapés that have been handmade by French chef caterers who only use premium ingredients. Wines from the cash bar have been matched with the dinner menu for a truly special twilight experience of Sydney Harbour onboard your 1850s-style tall ship. Step back in time, let the wind take over and the sound of the engine fade away. Welcome to Sydney!
