AAE15 recap

More than 3,300 AAE members, guests and corporate partners took Seattle by storm at AAE15, May 6-9, 2015. With a new name and look, a record number of exhibitors, technological enhancements and an educational program featuring emerging endodontic techniques and concepts, the AAE's annual meeting was focused on moving into the future and preparing endodontists for the changes ahead.

Technology’s impact on the future was an important recurring theme, beginning with the keynote speech from Dr. Michio Kaku, a futurist and theoretical physicist. Dr. Kaku provided a glimpse into the technologies of the future and the “digitalization of life” that will shape society. He urged each attendee to “be a surfer, ride the wave and understand where technology is bringing you.” The educational sessions and hands-on workshops took this message to heart, offering information on topics ranging from 3-D imaging and nanomaterials to digital marketing strategies for the endodontic practice. Building relationships for the future was emphasized as well, and attendees had plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues and corporate partners at AAE15 social events such as the President’s Breakfast, Exhibit Hall Opening and Closing Receptions, and Celebrate Seattle! at the famed EMP Museum.

Enjoy a farewell video message to the membership from 2014-2015 AAE President Dr. Robert Roda.
