Mark is an active member of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA) and the Infusion Nursing Society (INS), where he has contributed to the development of the INS Standards of Practice and the AVA certification exam. He holds national certifications in infusion nursing and vascular access. His publications have focused on complication prevention and quality improvements in the delivery of infusion therapy.
